About Me
Who Am I?
That’s always the big question, isn’t it? Luckily for you, I’ve done the self-reflection to answer it.
Early in my writing journey (a.k.a. high school), I was the nerd with bad bangs and Harry Potter glasses. That’s because I’ve always cared more about what’s in my head than on it. My whole life, I’ve been analytical and detail-oriented, which made me perfect for editing. But I’ve also got creative juice in my veins—always flowing and eager to put words to paper.
After almost 10 years working in the industry, I’ve discovered I’m not just a writer/editor; I’m a leader too. My approach to leadership is a gentle one. I may not be the charismatic leader of nations, but I’m the type who meets you where you’re at and builds from there. I listen and learn from my teammates, considering them equals, then figure out how to best guide them.
